Kristen Bell is paying the perks of pregnancy forward!
The actress — who’s expecting her second child with husband Dax Shepard — is teaming up with Baby Buggy to shower fellow expectant mamas with lots of love.
Just in time for the holidays, Bell, 34, has donated $91,500 in Bravado nursing bras and Medela breastfeeding pumps to moms in need.
“As a mother about to have my second baby, I understand the importance of having the essential tools necessary to provide for a newborn,” Bell says.
But having a stock of mommy and baby must-haves is only a small part in preparing for parenthood.
“Greater still, I am aware of the immeasurable value of having support systems in place to ensure success on this journey of motherhood,” adds Bell, who is also mom to 19-month-old daughter Lincoln.
“Anything I can offer in support and care to new moms in need remains a huge priority to me.”
In addition to the donation, Baby Buggy is hosting an event on Nov. 18 in honor of the expectant actress. Although she will not be able to attend — Bell will instead Tweet throughout the baby shower – she is looking forward to celebrating the forty moms-to-be on their big day.
“I’m so grateful this partnership with Medela and Bravado Designs allows me to donate and contribute in significant ways by changing outcomes for the at-risk mothers that Baby Buggy strives so hard to support,” she explains.
